Cette ann\u00e9e, Bistrot de Pays f\u00eate ses 20 ans d’existence. Soutenue par l’Europe gr\u00e2ce au programme Leader, cette marque d\u00e9pos\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise a d\u00e9j\u00e0 250 \u00e9tablissements \u00e0 son actif. Il s’agit d’un projet qui soutient les bistrots, caf\u00e9s et restaurants des r\u00e9gions rurales afin d’y favoriser le maintien d’un tissu socio-\u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n

Chaque \u00e9tablissement doit proposer une (petite) restauration r\u00e9gionale, mais peut aussi parall\u00e8lement faire office d’\u00e9picerie, boulangerie, bureau de poste, d\u00e9p\u00f4t de journaux, etc. si ces services ne sont pas assur\u00e9s dans le village. Les exploitants peuvent en outre relayer une s\u00e9rie d’informations touristiques sur leur r\u00e9gion, ainsi que promouvoir et vendre les produits de leur terroir.<\/p>\n

Un Bistrot de Pays n’est donc pas un \u00e9tablissement horeca comme les autres ; les exploitants sont les ambassadeurs de leur village ou municipalit\u00e9, et les \u00e9tablissements des hauts lieux de la vie culturelle r\u00e9gionale.<\/p>\n

Le projet conna\u00eet un tel succ\u00e8s qu’il s’\u00e9tend au-del\u00e0 des fronti\u00e8res, notamment en Italie, avec le Bistro di Paese.<\/p>\n
