Au cours de la r\u00e9ouverture officielle de l\u2019h\u00f4tel enti\u00e8rement r\u00e9nov\u00e9, les pr\u00e9sidents de Horeca Flandre et Horeca Limbourg prirent la parole.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Investir<\/h3>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 la crise \u00e9conomique qui s\u00e9vit, la famille Geurdens d\u00e9cida malgr\u00e9 tout d\u2019investir massivement afin de r\u00e9tablir \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de l\u2019h\u00f4tel son ancienne gloire. La totalit\u00e9 du projet a entra\u00een\u00e9 un co\u00fbt de quelque 600.000 euros.<br \/>\nC\u2019est en 2006 que la famille Geurdens fit l\u2019acquisition de cet l\u2019h\u00f4tel-boutique avec ses 18 chambres et son restaurant. Ludo Geurdens, riche d\u2019une exp\u00e9rience d\u2019une quinzaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es dans bon nombre d\u2019h\u00f4tels Accor, si\u00e8ge \u00e9galement dans le conseil d\u2019administration d\u2019horeca Flandre. Dans la cuisine enti\u00e8rement r\u00e9nov\u00e9e, le chef Jens Stinissen, pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment actif pendant 4 ans au restaurant \u00e9toil\u00e9 De Slagmolen \u00e0 Opglabbeek, est ma\u00eetre des lieux.<\/p>\n<p>Ludo Geurdens : \u00ab\u00a0Jens est un talent ascendant et s\u2019est hiss\u00e9 au rang de laur\u00e9at du \u2018Jong Keukengeweld\u2019 cette ann\u00e9e. Il propose une cuisine classique de haut niveau. Par ailleurs, la carte offre 10 vins de prestige \u00e0 des prix tr\u00e8s avantageux, car la marge b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire ne repr\u00e9sente que 35%, qui peuvent \u00eatre command\u00e9s au verre.<\/p>\n<h3>Croissance et \u00e9panouissement<\/h3>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0105 ans dans l\u2019horeca est un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne unique et d\u00e9cider d\u2019investir \u00e0 un \u00e2ge avanc\u00e9 est pure folie\u00a0\u00bb, telles furent les premi\u00e8res paroles du speech tenu par le pr\u00e9sident d\u2019Horeca Flandre. Le secteur de l\u2019h\u00f4tellerie demeure un secteur qui continue de croitre et de s\u2019\u00e9panouir, surtout dans une r\u00e9gion touristique comme \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e du Parc National de Haute Campine disposant d\u2019un r\u00e9seau de 600 km de pistes cyclables et de promenade. Malgr\u00e9 les B&amp;B qui surgissent de toute part et les autres aspects comme les statuts de notre personnel, il est essentiel de continuer d\u2019investir dans un produit auquel on croit.<\/p>\n\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Vent de panique\u00a0!<\/h3>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Il souffle un vent de panique sur l\u2019horeca\u00a0\u00bb, t\u00e9moigne Filip Vanheusden, pr\u00e9sident d\u2019Horeca Flandre. \u00ab\u00a0Soixante \u00e0 septante mille jobs sont menac\u00e9s, dont trois mille au Limbourg. Un petit drame Ford en quelque sorte.\u00a0\u00bb Dans son discours, le pr\u00e9sident appelle d\u00e8s lors aussi le gouvernement \u00e0 mettre tout en \u0153uvre afin d\u2019octroyer \u00e0 l\u2019horeca un statut particulier. Avec l\u2019introduction de la caisse blanche, mieux connue sous le nom de \u2018black box\u2019, de s\u00e9rieux probl\u00e8mes menacent le secteur. Vanheusden est favorable \u00e0 la caisse blanche mais celle-ci doit aller de pair avec des mesures d\u2019accompagnement. Horeca Flandre exige du gouvernement un statut diff\u00e9rent parce que dans l\u2019horeca, les heures sont irr\u00e9guli\u00e8res et prest\u00e9es pendant les weekends. \u00ab\u00a0\u00e7a passe ou \u00e7a casse\u00a0\u00bb, d\u00e9clara Filip Vanheusden. Il met en garde pour le bain de sang qui se profile et entra\u00eenera avec lui une perte d\u2019emplois en masse, \u00ab\u00a0car la pr\u00e9vision de soixante \u00e0 septante mille refl\u00e8te bien la r\u00e9alit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, selon le pr\u00e9sident. \u00ab\u00a0Je ne connais actuellement qu\u2019un seul secteur totalement \u2018blanchi\u2019 et c\u2019est celui des titres-services pour les aides m\u00e9nag\u00e8res, mais celui-ci a \u00e9t\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement subsidi\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit-il. Il en appelle donc au gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral \u00e0 chercher ensemble une solution. Une t\u00e2che pour le moins difficile, \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent que le seul souci est la r\u00e9alisation de milliards
