L\u2019office du tourisme fait d\u00e9sormais la promotion de ces tr\u00e9sors culinaires par le biais d\u2019un menu gastronomique \u00e0 bord d\u2019un tram bruxellois : la Tram Exp\u00e9rience.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Turin, longtemps connue comme une ville industrielle, s\u2019affirme de plus en plus en tant que ville de la gastronomie, de l\u2019art, de l\u2019architecture et du sport. Entour\u00e9e par les Alpes et les rizi\u00e8res de la plaine du P\u00f4, la ville et ses alentours abritent quelques-unes des plus grandes entreprises alimentaires et de boissons d\u2019Europe. Pensez \u00e0 Nutella (Ferrero), le caf\u00e9 Lavazza, Martini\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Turin fut d\u2019ailleurs la premi\u00e8re capitale de l\u2019Italie. Cela se refl\u00e8te dans la grandeur du centre-ville, avec ses belles b\u00e2tisses baroques, ses kilom\u00e8tres de galeries marchandes couvertes et ses places majestueuses.<\/p>\n<p>Quels sont les autres attraits de Turin ? Le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre suaire de Turin (le drap dans lequel le Christ aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 envelopp\u00e9 et enterr\u00e9 apr\u00e8s sa crucifixion), l\u2019impressionnant mus\u00e9e du film et le Lingotto, l\u2019ancienne usine Fiat et sa piste d\u2019essai sur le toit. Le complexe abrite une galerie d\u2019art (Pinocoteca Agnelli), une salle de concert, un th\u00e9\u00e2tre, un centre de congr\u00e8s, un h\u00f4tel et un centre commercial.<\/p>\n<h4>Caf\u00e9, chocolat et ap\u00e9ritif<\/h4>\n<p>Mais Turin est avant tout un endroit o\u00f9 l\u2019on appr\u00e9cie la bonne ch\u00e8re. Dans cette ville du nord de l\u2019Italie, la cuisine est plus g\u00e9n\u00e9reuse, plus riche et \u00e9galement un peu plus lourde que dans le centre ou le sud de la botte. Ne pensez donc pas \u00e0 la pizza, aux tomates ou aux spaghetti vongole, mais plut\u00f4t aux p\u00e2tes au beurre et truffe (par exemple d\u2019Alba), au ragout \u00e0 la viande de b\u0153uf mijot\u00e9e lentement dans du vin barolo ou \u00e0 l\u2019\u2018agnolotti del plin\u2019, une p\u00e2te farcie \u00e0 la viande de b\u0153uf. Un peu plus l\u00e9ger mais \u00e9galement originaire du Pi\u00e9mont, le fameux vitello tonnato.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous associez Turin \u00e0 une boisson, c\u2019est bel et bien au vermout. Vous pensez alors automatiquement au c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Martini, mais \u00e0 Turin, vous trouverez des vermouts de toutes les couleurs, de tous les ar\u00f4mes et de toutes les saveurs, \u00e9labor\u00e9s par une foule de petits producteurs.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs en partie gr\u00e2ce au vermout que Turin connait une v\u00e9ritable culture de l\u2019ap\u00e9ritif. Celui-ci sera presque toujours accompagn\u00e9 d\u2019un amuse-bouche (charcuterie, fromage\u2026) et vous y verrez m\u00eame parfois un buffet complet d\u2019amuse-bouche duquel, moyennant quelques euros de plus ou compris dans le prix de votre boisson, vous pourrez vous servir.<\/p>\n<p>Mais \u00e0 Turin, le moment caf\u00e9 est \u00e9galement une affaire s\u00e9rieuse. Leur version du high-tea britannique porte le nom de \u2018merenda reale\u2019. Dans les \u00e9l\u00e9gants caf\u00e9s historiques de Turin, on propose toute une gamme de chocolats, de biscuits et de p\u00e2tisseries avec le caf\u00e9. Cette exp\u00e9rience permet aux gourmets de prendre place dans un tram des ann\u00e9es 1960 transform\u00e9 en restaurant. Pendant que vous d\u00eenez ou d\u00e9jeunez paisiblement, le tram sillonne les rues de la capitale. Cet autodidacte a ouvert un restaurant \u00e0 Alba en 2014, et y a obtenu une \u00e9toile Michelin apr\u00e8s trois ans. Il s\u2019est ensuite install\u00e9 \u00e0 Turin en 2022 et y a ouvert le restaurant Larossa. L\u00e0 aussi, le fabricant de pneus lui a rapidement d\u00e9cern\u00e9 une \u00e9toile. Andrea Larossa propose une interpr\u00e9tation contemporaine de la cuisine pi\u00e9montaise.
