Dans un contexte \u00e9conomique d\u00e9cevant, le secteur belge des vins et spiritueux se raccroche d\u00e9j\u00e0 aux perspectives \u00e9mises par le gouvernement pour contrer les achats frontaliers. \u00ab Par ailleurs, nous devons \u00eatre tr\u00e8s conscients de la nouvelle religion de l\u2019abstinence totale pr\u00f4n\u00e9e par certaines instances, d\u00e9clare Geert Van Lerberghe, directeur de Vinum Et Spiritus, la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration belge du secteur des vins et spiritueux. Je lance donc un appel au secteur Horeca pour qu\u2019il nous aide \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre nos int\u00e9r\u00eats communs \u00bb.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Vinum Et Spiritus est la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration sectorielle belge de l\u2019industrie des vins et spiritueux, qui repr\u00e9sente plus de 80 membres. Les membres vont de producteurs et n\u00e9gociants en vin et boissons distill\u00e9es \u00e0 un ensemble diversifi\u00e9 de petites, moyennes entreprises et de multinationales. En 2024, l\u2019ensemble du secteur belge des vins et spiritueux repr\u00e9sentait une contribution aux recettes d\u2019accises de 568 millions d\u2019euros et plus de 30.000 emplois directs et indirects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u00ab Mais nous sommes confront\u00e9s \u00e0 un climat \u00e9conomique d\u00e9favorable. Apr\u00e8s la crise du COVID, les achats frontaliers, surtout pour les spiritueux et en moindre mesure pour le vin, ont \u00e0 nouveau augment\u00e9 et les ventes en Belgique continuent, elles, de baisser, certainement pour les spiritueux. Le pouvoir d\u2019achat aussi reste un probl\u00e8me. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Les choses peuvent-elles s\u2019am\u00e9liorer ? Les mesures prises par le gouvernement pour contrer les achats frontaliers sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 un signe positif.<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u00ab Le nouvel accord gouvernemental accorde d\u00e9j\u00e0 une attention particuli\u00e8re au r\u00e9tablissement de la concurrence de nos entreprises belges et exprime tr\u00e8s explicitement l\u2019intention de contrer les achats aux fronti\u00e8res. Les producteurs belges, qui constituent une richesse en termes de qualit\u00e9 et de savoir-faire, ainsi qu\u2019une part importante de notre \u00e9conomie belge, seront ainsi prot\u00e9g\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">La r\u00e9duction de la taxe sur les emballages pour tous les produits dont le prix est sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la moyenne par rapport aux pays voisins, et donc pas seulement pour le caf\u00e9 et les boissons non alcoolis\u00e9es, est \u00e9galement un premier pas dans la bonne direction. Le fait que le gouvernement examinera quels autres droits d\u2019accises peuvent \u00eatre r\u00e9duits pour contrer les achats frontaliers offre une perspective suppl\u00e9mentaire. En effet, les grands \u00e9carts de prix avec les pays voisins pourront ainsi \u00eatre att\u00e9nu\u00e9s et les consommateurs belges ach\u00e8teront dor\u00e9navant des vins et des spiritueux localement. N\u2019oublions pas que notre secteur est accabl\u00e9 par une \u2018lasagne fiscale\u2019 qui repr\u00e9sente ais\u00e9ment jusqu\u2019\u00e0 75 % du prix d\u2019une bouteille de vin ou de spiritueux. Une telle mesure est disproportionn\u00e9e, car elle ne fait plus la distinction entre une consommation mod\u00e9r\u00e9e et une consommation excessive d\u2019alcool.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Cette nouvelle mesure, dont on sous-estime largement la port\u00e9e et l\u2019impact \u00e0 long terme, causera ainsi des dommages \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble de la cha\u00eene de valeur et \u00e0 toutes les entreprises concern\u00e9es, alors que l\u2019industrie ne croit nullement en son efficacit\u00e9. En outre, elle ignore tous les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s avec succ\u00e8s de l\u2019industrie pour aligner le slogan sur les choix strat\u00e9giques du Plan Alcool Interf\u00e9d\u00e9ral. Troisi\u00e8mement, cette d\u00e9cision est principalement bas\u00e9e sur une lecture tr\u00e8s unilat\u00e9rale et incompl\u00e8te de la litt\u00e9rature scientifique \u00bb.<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Heureusement, certaines tendances sont prometteuses. L\u2019une d\u2019entre elles est le \u2018new hedonism\u2019, o\u00f9 les consommateurs paient volontiers plus cher pour vivre une exp\u00e9rience unique. En d\u2019autres termes\u00a0: on boit moins mais mieux.<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u00ab Les consommateurs, et particuli\u00e8rement les jeunes, ne recherchent plus le volume \u00e0 bas prix, mais la qualit\u00e9. Un discours unilat\u00e9ral ignore les preuves scientifiques selon lesquelles une consommation mod\u00e9r\u00e9e d\u2019alcool peut faire partie d\u2019un mode de vie \u00e9quilibr\u00e9. Il l\u00e9gitime des mesures qui rendent les boissons alcoolis\u00e9es invisibles, inaccessibles et inabordables. Il est grand temps qu\u2019en tant qu\u2019industrie, nous r\u00e9agissions de mani\u00e8re appropri\u00e9e contre cette nouvelle religion de l\u2019abstinence totale. Car moderation is a safe choice \u00bb.<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">L\u2019objectif est notamment de collaborer plus activement avec le secteur Horeca.<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u00ab Il existe d\u00e9j\u00e0 de nombreuses initiatives qui informent et aident le consommateur \u00e0 mieux faire face aux risques li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019abus d\u2019alcool, mais malheureusement, il y a encore trop de fragmentation et le poids de ces initiatives est en partie perdu. Nous souhaitons y rem\u00e9dier en organisant une table ronde en juin (ndlr. date \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer) \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">La premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition du <span class=\"s2\">Brussels Bar Show<\/span>, qui s\u2019est tenue r\u00e9cemment au Silo \u00e0 Bruxelles, a \u00e9galement prouv\u00e9 que le secteur souhaite se manifester davantage. Avec plus de 2.000 visiteurs (barmen, professionnels des boissons et amateurs de cocktails), cette premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 un succ\u00e8s. Les visiteurs ont pu rencontrer 150 barmen de haut niveau qui ont fait la d\u00e9monstration de leurs comp\u00e9tences, plus de 150 marques de premier plan et plus de 250 recettes de cocktails uniques sp\u00e9cialement \u00e9labor\u00e9es pour cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">\u00ab Le Brussels Bar Show n\u2019\u00e9tait pas un simple salon professionnel parmi d\u2019autres, mais une plateforme de r\u00e9seautage dynamique qui a rassembl\u00e9 des barmen et des professionnels de la boisson de toute la Belgique. Cette premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition s\u2019est d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e \u00eatre le point de rencontre annuel de l\u2019industrie belge des bars \u00bb, d\u00e9clare Alice Bown, la Wine Lady of Belgium 2020, qui dirige une agence de communication sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans les vins et spiritueux (Alice Bown Agency). Elle a imagin\u00e9 le concept du Brussels Bar Show en collaboration avec Hannes Desmedt, expert en cocktails et sommelier-barman prim\u00e9, qui a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper le concept gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son expertise technique et \u00e0 sa connaissance approfondie des produits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">L\u2019ensemble de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 ponctu\u00e9 de 28 s\u00e9minaires et 12 sessions exclusives, anim\u00e9s par les plus grands noms et les talents \u00e9mergents, offrant des perspectives uniques et des innovations pionni\u00e8res dans l\u2019industrie du bar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">La prochaine \u00e9dition du Brussels Bar Show se tiendra les 29 et 30 mars 2026, \u00e9galement au Silo Brussels.
