Quels enseignements tirer des inspections men\u00e9es en 2025 ? Le rapport annuel de l&rsquo;AFSCA montre que la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire poursuit sa progression, m\u00eame si des efforts restent n\u00e9cessaires, en particulier dans le secteur Horeca \u00e0 Bruxelles et dans sa p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pour de nombreux consommateurs, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire ne devient visible que lorsqu&rsquo;un incident survient. Pourtant, des contr\u00f4les sont effectu\u00e9s quotidiennement \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. En 2025, l&rsquo;AFSCA a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 182.420 inspections aupr\u00e8s de 56.456 entreprises, dont 85,9 % ont obtenu un r\u00e9sultat favorable, un niveau comparable \u00e0 celui des ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes. Au total, 62.168 \u00e9chantillons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9s et 98,1 % se sont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9s conformes.<\/p>\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats confirment que la Belgique maintient un niveau \u00e9lev\u00e9 de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire. L&rsquo;AFSCA a toutefois d\u00fb intervenir lors de plusieurs incidents, notamment une \u00e9pid\u00e9mie de STEC (Escherichia coli producteur de shigatoxines) dans plusieurs maisons de repos et de soins, ainsi que lors de 20 foyers de grippe aviaire touchant des \u00e9levages de volailles.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsque des manquements sont constat\u00e9s, l&rsquo;AFSCA prend les mesures appropri\u00e9es. Celles-ci vont de l&rsquo;avertissement (14.776) au proc\u00e8s-verbal (9.954), en passant par la saisie de produits (1.458). Lorsque la sant\u00e9 du consommateur est menac\u00e9e, l&rsquo;agence peut \u00e9galement ordonner la fermeture temporaire d&rsquo;un \u00e9tablissement. Cette mesure a \u00e9t\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 508 reprises en 2025.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-58556 alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/horecamagazine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-1092632852-crop1280.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"854\" srcset=\"https:\/\/horecamagazine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-1092632852-crop1280.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/horecamagazine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-1092632852-crop1280-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/horecamagazine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-1092632852-crop1280-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/horecamagazine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-1092632852-crop1280-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/horecamagazine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-1092632852-crop1280-1080x721.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/horecamagazine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-1092632852-crop1280-959x640.jpg 959w, https:\/\/horecamagazine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-1092632852-crop1280-1127x752.jpg 1127w, https:\/\/horecamagazine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-1092632852-crop1280-210x140.jpg 210w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><br \/>Parmi les faits marquants de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e, on rel\u00e8ve 279 rappels de produits effectu\u00e9s par des entreprises alimentaires belges, principalement en raison de risques chimiques ou microbiologiques. Par ailleurs, 99 avertissements ont \u00e9t\u00e9 diffus\u00e9s, le plus souvent \u00e0 la suite d&rsquo;informations allerg\u00e8nes absentes ou incorrectes sur l&rsquo;\u00e9tiquetage.<\/p>\n<p>Le Point de contact pour les consommateurs a enregistr\u00e9 un nombre record de 6.268 plaintes en 2025, soit une hausse de 20 % par rapport \u00e0 2024. Plus de la moiti\u00e9 de ces signalements (55 %) ont donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 des interventions sur le terrain.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses diff\u00e9rents ports et a\u00e9roports, la Belgique constitue \u00e9galement une importante porte d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e vers l&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne. Au total, 132.010 exp\u00e9ditions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 contr\u00f4l\u00e9es aux fronti\u00e8res belges, dont 1.267 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 refus\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Le 4 novembre 2025, l&rsquo;AFSCA a \u00e9galement lanc\u00e9 le syst\u00e8me <strong>Food Hygiene Rating<\/strong>, une application permettant aux consommateurs de consulter facilement les r\u00e9sultats des contr\u00f4les d&rsquo;hygi\u00e8ne des restaurants, boulangeries et commerces alimentaires. Cette publication vise \u00e0 renforcer la transparence et la confiance dans la cha\u00eene alimentaire belge.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;agence a \u00e9galement d\u00fb g\u00e9rer plusieurs incidents sanitaires majeurs. En ao\u00fbt 2025, onze maisons de repos belges ont \u00e9t\u00e9 touch\u00e9es par une \u00e9pid\u00e9mie de STEC, provoquant plus de 70 cas de maladie et neuf d\u00e9c\u00e8s. L&rsquo;enqu\u00eate a identifi\u00e9 de la viande hach\u00e9e de b\u0153uf crue comme source de contamination la plus probable.<\/p>\n<p>La grippe aviaire a, elle aussi, fortement mobilis\u00e9 les \u00e9quipes de l&rsquo;AFSCA, avec 20 foyers recens\u00e9s dans des \u00e9levages de volailles et 350 cas chez des oiseaux sauvages. Environ 665.000 volailles ont d\u00fb \u00eatre abattues dans les exploitations professionnelles. Pour la premi\u00e8re fois, deux chats vivant en ext\u00e9rieur ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 contamin\u00e9s dans une exploitation touch\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Dans un monde en constante \u00e9volution, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire doit rester une priorit\u00e9 absolue. Elle doit \u00eatre visible, comprise et soutenue par tous les acteurs de la cha\u00eene alimentaire \u00bb, souligne Christine Romeyns, r\u00e9cemment entr\u00e9e en fonction comme administratrice d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9e de l&rsquo;AFSCA. \u00ab En 2025, nos \u00e9quipes ont une nouvelle fois d\u00e9montr\u00e9 leur expertise et leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 faire face \u00e0 des incidents sanitaires majeurs. Les r\u00e9sultats sont clairs : la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire continue de progresser en Belgique. Les contr\u00f4les quotidiens r\u00e9alis\u00e9s dans les cuisines, les magasins et les ateliers permettent de pr\u00e9venir les probl\u00e8mes avant m\u00eame qu&rsquo;ils ne surviennent. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Mais tout n&rsquo;est pas positif. Alors que plus des trois quarts des cr\u00e8ches ont obtenu une \u00e9valuation favorable, seuls la moiti\u00e9 des \u00e9tablissements Horeca ont re\u00e7u un r\u00e9sultat positif. La situation est encore plus pr\u00e9occupante dans les \u00e9tablissements de type pita, o\u00f9 \u00e0 peine un quart des \u00e9tablissements \u00e9taient en ordre.<\/p>\n<p>Ces chiffres cachent \u00e9galement d&rsquo;importantes disparit\u00e9s r\u00e9gionales. Une analyse de plusieurs milliers de rapports d&rsquo;inspection r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par le quotidien \u00e9conomique <em>De Tijd<\/em>, portant sur pr\u00e8s de 7.000 restaurants, friteries, \u00e9tablissements de pita et caf\u00e9s des villes-centres flamandes ainsi que des 19 communes bruxelloises, montre que les r\u00e9sultats varient fortement selon la localisation.<br \/>C&rsquo;est dans la R\u00e9gion de Bruxelles-Capitale que la situation appara\u00eet la plus pr\u00e9occupante : un tiers des \u00e9tablissements Horeca y ont re\u00e7u la mention \u00ab \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>En Flandre, Saint-Nicolas obtient les moins bons r\u00e9sultats, avec 28 % des \u00e9tablissements Horeca class\u00e9s \u00ab \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer \u00bb.
